I find it interesting when I hear people say their boss or someone on their team is "so intense" as if that is a bad thing! Intensity is the gas pedal in a car. It is what it takes to get anything moving. Just because you have a car with fuel in the tank doesn’t mean it is going to go anywhere. Someone has to actually start the car and put the pedal to the medal!
This is leadership and everyone leads.
Creating a healthy level of intensity sets a rhythm for your team to align together. You begin by effectively thinking through what you want to accomplish and how you will get there. In the end, intensity puts those intentions into action.
It is action that makes impact.
Nothing big happens without intensity.
And let it rip!
